Absolutely not. That's a good way to get yourself killed. http://www.herper.com/venom/electro.html

Yes this works, those who say it does not have not tried it themselves, I have. It will not kill you, the current from a stun gun or cattle prod is not strong enough to cause problems. The exact mechanism is not completely understood, it seems that the electrical characteristics of the venom are being changed. There have been many studies which have shown it to be effective against snake and spider bite in humans, not rats or mice (which were the subjects in all the "official" medical trials). Stun guns and the like can be too powerful, you only need 20 to 25 thousand volts to do the job. It also works best when used inside an hour from the bite being received. Sources of shock such as a small combustion engine spark lead are ideal. It must be pulsed Direct Current. There are quite a few pages on the web showing information by doctors who have used this method with outstanding success. It also works on Bee, wasp and scorpion stings and Brown Recluse spider bites. http://venomshock.wikidot.com/ http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?sec=health&res=9A0DE2D9113EF936A3575BC0A960948260 http://www.spiderbitetreatment.com/minisguse.htm
