I don't find them embarrassing at all, to be honest. Well, maybe in the dracula case of having many all over the placce. But I like to show off one or two on the neck ;)

i knew a guy in my grade who had one right on his adams apple, and that was the only place, i remember him getting crap for it because no one could understand why of all places a girl would give him one, she gave him one on his adams apple...
