No. It is not my place to judge. I would make a comment about something that is illegal if it would get me in trouble. And I would leave if I was unconfortable with a person being legal and/or immoral.

No I don't. I don't recognize the law as the moral standard. While I agree that murder is immoral and think it should be against the law, I don't think anyone who uses drugs is immoral just because it's against the law. So I don't treat them as immoral people. Morality and the law are entirely separate to me... some laws I think are based in morality while other laws I think are immoral... and some laws are just amoral...

No, I do not believe the law sets a moral standard. But, I do find it immoral to act against the law. Does that make sense?

In my own judgement, something can be "illegal" but not necessarilly "inmoral". For example, running through a red traffic light is not legal because it defies an existing law, but as it relates to moral ethics, it seems to be more perceptual than tangible.

Having sex outside of marriage is not illegal. Doesn't mean that I will do it.

I never connected illegal with immoral in my life.
