  • if you are a bit uncomfortable about the height thing when engaged then be warned, it will snowball and grow ever more an issue if you get married to him. If you are not going to go out and get another (taller) man because you are engaged, then why ask in the first place (since whatever responses you receive will make no difference to your situation).
  • I'm not sure if you're asking whether it's weird that you're taller than your boyfriend, or whether it's weird because you've both stopped growing... Assuming that you're worried that it's weird to be 10cm taller than your boyfriend - I don't think it's weird at all. Social norms in the western world demand that the male is taller than the female, but what society thinks doesn't really matter, where love is concerned. Society (i.e. friends, associates, random people you see in the street, etc) doesn't live at your house, sleep in your bed or walk in your shoes. 'Weird' is a state of mind - being taller than your boyfriend will be weird if YOU think it is. But if you walk tall and take pride in being with the one you love, that's all that counts : )
  • its only weird if you make it weird. It wont bother anyone else at all.
  • And why do you think being taller than your boyfriend should be a problem?
  • thats your fiance it shouldnt be a problem your marrying the man
  • It's different, but not weird. If you're both comfortable with the situation than it doesn't stand out so much in public. It's only really noticeable if one of the partners feels anxiety, their body language draws attention. Since it sounds like you're in love and neither one really cares about that small height difference I don't think anyone else is going to pay much attention or think it's strange either.
