It is so wrong to not have any aspirations to put on a appraisal form your boss asks you to fill out? It is a terrible thing that you just want to do what you are given, do it well and leave at the end of the day to collect a salary?

If you explain it correctly, some bosses will understand your reasoning. I have been through the same situation. I always tell them I enjoy what I'm doing now and I want to continue to support our department.
