  • do you really think they are "goody goody shoes" type? nope, I am pretty sure they have done alot of screwed up things that we don't know of. so probably yes
  • Individuals in the military probably smuggled a lot of things from Asia and Europe into the US, but the movie suggests there was some "official" smuggling of heroin and sale to the underworld, which is BS. There will always be Hollywood movies that will "suggest" anything, especially any culpability of the US government in anything. These a-holes are the descendents of the same wonderful folks who produced all the anti-American movies of the sixties and seventies. There will always be anti-American, anti-US government movies produced by "Jollewoo", because it is in their blood. They are like the pups who suck the teat then roll over and crap in the den. It is their "natural right" and they are the "elite". When they get a huckster like Ollie Stone or somebody like him, they promote them to elite status as well.
  • Frank Lucas was/is a real individual from Greensboro,NC. He had individuals in the armed forces smuggle drugs into the US for him using the coffins of dead servicemen. Wikipedia quote: Lucas denies putting the drugs in the corpses of American soldiers. Instead he flew in a North Carolina carpenter to Bangkok and: “ We had him make up 28 copies of the government coffins . . . except we fixed them up with false bottoms, big enough to load up with six, maybe eight kilos[9] . . . It had to be snug. You couldn't have shit sliding around. Ike was very smart, because he made sure we used heavy guys' coffins. He didn't put them in no skinny guy's . . ." ” — Frank Lucas
  • well I will yet again be the devil's advocate and say YES the government/military did smuggle drugs in and still does to this day. The government (CIA) has traded weapons for drugs as well. There's many reasons for this. One of the biggest being the war on drugs. The government puts drugs out there on the streets, then finances the war on drugs, the cops bust the druggies, their possessions are confiscated and sold or used to finance the cops so they can buy better gear (riot gear, swta gear, tazers etc.) and then the courts get a chunk of money sending these people to jail. THEN prisons are making money housing these people, so many in fact that more prisons need to be built. So the powers that be release more drugs on the street and bust more people and confiscate more property and make more money. Of course when they confiscate the drugs they do not destroy them, they turn then around and put them on the street to keep the war on drugs going. The cops admit they cannot and will not ever make a dent on the amount of drugs and dealers in the U.S. nor would they want to...there's too much cash and too many jobs at stake. Tell me how so much heroine and coke gets over the border without some help? If the border patrols and customs are that lax how is it then that I can't get on a plane with 3 lighters and apocket knife but literally 10000 lbs of drugs get over the border and into the US every day without military/government help? It amazes me how much confidence and trust people put into our scheming government sometimes.
