Should dream dictionaries and interpretations given in books or online be taken seriously? I just always keep getting these negative things and it freaks me out.

I think it should be taken with a grain of salt. It holds no truth. No one has yet to prove where our brain gets these images from. When we dream, our entire brain is working, EXCEPT for our part of the brain that judges somethings Logic. Therefore, there is no logic in our dreams. If our dreams had any logical meaning, we wouldn't be running forever from an invisible being, or tripping off the curb. It's also said that when we dream, we are commiting our short term memories from the day, to Memory, so that is why sometimes things we see on TV and things that really happened, are mashed into this dream which makes no sense at all. =]

I never found much luck with that either, I always have disturbing dreams. I have found that in a few days my subconscious will make sense of it all, I might be lying to myself, but thats better that the internet, right?
