  • I have seen questions with over 30 answers and very high points flagged as Nonsense. It does not seem to matter what the majority think it is that ONE person that takes exception and flags it and a moderator accepts the flag either without checking it or they agree but I think the majority should take the vote on this type of situation.
  • In reading some of the answers and comments in response to your question, it looks like some users thought your question was "insensitive". Maybe someone complained and got it flagged.
  • I think you have a right to be upset. I don't see anything wrong with it.
  • I agree with you and I think that question is very legitimate! I would have asked it myself had I thought of it sooner. :)
  • I would not make a good moderator, but I have found that if you appeal the rejection, it can be reinstated. Just put the URL in the comment box that you find when you click on "feedback" at the bottom of the page.
  • I suggest you contact the AB team about it. They might not readmit it, but they might be able to tell you why they rejected it.
  • I agree wholeheartedly that there is NOTHING nonsensical about your question. I would talk to AB staff about it.
  • Not nonsense at all. I think there's someone new and trigger happy in the admin staff. Just yesterday we lost a perfectly good answer for no reason: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/644588 To those who blame the ones flagging: It's the staff that has to judge and decide on flaggings. There will always be stupid flaggings, that is why they can't be accepted unchecked. It's upstairs where the real issue is.
  • What was your question?
