According to 1 Corinthians 5:12, death is mankind's enemy. Does the bible provide any proof that God will do away with that enemy? If yes, how and when?

1 passage is Revelation 21:3,4 I heard a loud shout from the throne saying,"Look, the home of God is now among men, and HE will with them and they will be HIS people; yes, God HIMSELF will be among them. HE will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain. All of that has gone away forever."

Yes, God will do away with it if you do the simple and ultra easy task of believing in Him. It is called, entering the gates of Heaven.

Revelation 20:14 speaks about death being hurled into the lake of fire (the 2nd death evelasting destuction). The lake is a symbol because death cannot literally be burned. But they can & will be done away with or destoyed.
