My girlfriend got wasted at a party with a friend and took her shirt off and just laid in a bed with a guy. She told me she wouldn't drink, and the friend who was there told me this made me promise not to tell her. What should I do?

What was the point in this friend telling you if they didn't want you to mention it to her? Are you sure they are being honest with you? It seems like you have condemded her without even asking her if its true.

Telling you she wouldn't drink and then drinking enough to get wasted seems to be the only real complaint here. Everything else is questions. Taking a shirt off (was she wearing a bra?) and laying in bed because she's wasted means nothing. With a guy? Did she go to the bed WITH the guy and take her shirt off FOR him? Had she spilled a drink on it and took it off so it'd dry? Had HE gone in AFTER her to lay down? Was he totally wasted too and maybe there first and she just laid on the other side of the bed because that was the only place to comfortably lay down? There are a LOT of questions that don't seem to have answers here. Does her female friend that she told and asked not to tell you, but then broke that trust and DID, have ulterior motives? Is SHE interested in YOU? (COULD she be lying?) Sounds like you need to talk seriously with your girlfriend.

Just break the promise and confront your gf. I doubt the friend will lose that much sleep over it.

She's already lied about not going to drink. Why would he want to keep the incident a secret if they did nothing? Dump her.
