Yes! It's nice that we have a system that we can get rid of spam duplicate and offensive questions.
-
Thanks for the honest AB'ers out there!
-
Contrary to what my questions yesterday might seem, I do agree with censorship and so join you in thanks to the AB secret police.
-
Allow me to be the first (make that the fourth) to do so! I do try to do my part, especially with submissions that are clearly not questions or answers (to my own questions) that make absolutely no sense.
-
I would love to join in with you and Thank All who are helping each other and I'd like to Thank you and all the other C.L.'s who help us as well -- + 5 And I'd like to say Thank You to Jessica and her team for backing me tonight , many thanks
-
I will join you! Also I will ask you why there is no common sense when it comes to moderation? Sometimes a question which is obviously spam gets flagged as such and deleted other times it wont. The same thing goes for duplicates! I got a flagged rejected on a question "Why is the sky blue?" and a duplicate "The sky is blue, why?" They are obviously the same thing! Yet a question "What is YOUR most downrated question/answer on AB?" was flagged as a duplicate of "What is THE most downrated question on AB?" obviously different questions all together!
-
I absolutely want to join you! Thanks to all of the great people who make this site a cut above the rest! Keep up the good work!!
-
I shall throw in my voice on this. Many complain about improper flagging and, yes, it occurs. However, from what I have observed and heard, more often it is correct and AB will return a question if it is improperly flagged. Without the community, CL's, and staff working together, this place could be a bloody mess. I have seen q & a websites where the community and staff does NOT work together and it is horrid. *cough* Yahoo Answers *cough* This is one of the sites with the least bigotry I have seen and I do not just mean Yahoo Answers. I thank the intrepid souls who actually do the job of CL. It is not a job I would like! Thankyou, AB, also, for listening when we asked for CL's!
-
I WILL! Thank you all (staffers AND ABers) for a great website, for all those who flag correctly, and for those who report the "bad guys" to the proper authorities. ;-)
-
G'day Andy777, Thank you for your question. I would like to thank the Community Leaders. You do a great job. While like all heavy ABers, I might have the occasional grumble, you do a wonderful job. Regards
-
Thanks to all of the rest ... and you are welcome ...
-
Yes, I'd like to say a big thank you to all the ABers who watch out for us all. And I always try to do my part and watch out for my friends as they watch out for me.
-
Thanks Andy and all CL's :o)
-
To the ones who really care about this site and reports troll like actions....thank you! And to the staff who takes our reports and decides what is best for the site.....thank you!
-
I will chime in too.......thanks to all my fellow ABers for keeping this site such a great one......and far greater than it's competitors......and of course a special thanks to Andy....i'm sure this site to Andy is like a 2nd full time job ;-)
-
I'm happy to Join you. I'm thanking you for helping this site by removing the untidy questions which spoil the image of this site. Thanks to all of those who moderate
-
Yes, yes I do. With some work I may become a community leader as well. How would I go about that? Oh yeah, I would like to thank all of you, for being here. This a great place!

I'm pretty edgy on flagging much of anything unless it's a blatant evidence at offense. Maybe I believe in freedom of speech or expression a little too much and this clouds my judgement on decency and respect. Certainly not saying I'm better then anyone else at all, and in fact, no matter the disposition of Answerbag and its guidelines, I completely appreciate and will thank all those who are not afraid to declare foul play with the genuine intent of keeping this place fun and respectable for all. It's pretty lenient as far as I can see, and so I thank everyone, users and leaders alike, for doing the job I'm too much of a wuss to do myself and ensuring that it's always a fun place to come back to. :) I might not always see it, but when I do I am indeed quite thankful.

Sometimes I really get the impression that if anyone takes the trouble to flag anything, then it is almost automatically withdrawn as spam or nonsense or something or other. Nonsense is the category that gets me the most. Some questions are taken out as nonsense, and others, (such as the "what is on the seventh line of the seventh page of the nearest book) go on to super question status. Granted, that particular question isn't nonsense, but nor are many that are axed. (and I meant axed NOT asked). Personally I think tha no questions or answers should ever be removed. but that negative points should actually BE negative points and count towards your total status... Really bad questions should then be displayed in a special list that can only incur negative points for a fixed period and AB users can then decide about them. If a user gets to a total score of say... negative 100. Then he should be kicked off. (But this is the wine talking.

I don't know how else the staff and CL's could keep up with all the 'illegal' activity here without the ABers who do their part to report it.
-
Thanks to all those who make that extra effort truly, especially when it's unbiased and for the right reasons and the good of all. When things become a crusade for the purpose of dividing the community in the interest of agendas is when it becomes a problem.
-
Thankyou all for making this a brilliant site
-
I think you and the other CL's past and present do a fine job Andy. I've been PB'd twice, and deserved it both times. I applaud you all for what you do.
-
Andy, I will join you in almost anything. :) Thanks to all who work to make this site great. :)
-
Thanks to all of you! You do a great job!
-
thank you so much Andy.. to you and the other CL's and staff...and a big thanks to ALL the AB family members who help keep our home clean and free of spam and trolls
-
I do, I do! Thank you to everyone for helping make this a community of thinkers and thank you all for all you do to keep the site clean and spam/troll free. Also, I would like you thank YOU, Andy, and the rest of the Community Leaders for such a fantastic website! I've been in a position like yours before (moderation to a community website), and I can only IMAGINE just how much work you actually have to do each day. So again, thank you EVERYONE, for making AB the great site that it is. Have a lovely day!
-
Thank you guys for without you and the staff I can say AB would not be the same. I thank and appriate all the work you do, same for the staff. I think being a CL is the best thing you can do and hope one day I can be counted in that class.
