No way! It can be really liberating to only have to worry about yourself. It is nice to have a partner, especially if you are wanting to get married, have kids, etc. However, it is fine to be single. I think when we are single we learn how to appreciate ourselves and our friends more. We are not always worrying about what our mate will think, etc. :)

Depends on who you are, I suppose. Some people dwell on it so much that they truly can't be happy if they're not in a relationship while others do just fine without.

This question doesn't have a Yes or No answer, as it needs qualification. If you are a relationship-type person, then you are best being in a relationship and given all other factors being equal, being in a relationship will most likely make you happy if the person you are with is the right one. If you feel good, calm, peaceful and you don't suffer or feel impoverished by not being in any relationship, there's your answer too. Ultimately, remember that we are all born alone and die alone - the short or long term passengers that we pick up along the way whilst we are alive only make our journey more colorful, interesting and stimulating and is all that we will really think about in the sunset of our lives, whether you are a relationship-type person or not.

Ive heard that u r the only 1 that can make ur self happy! But i know the feelin u get when u start dating some1-that great feeling! But that same person can also make u feel so bad and upset sometimes! So, i guess if ur in a good relationship, it can make u feel better if ur already happy, but if ur in a bad 1 and ur happy already then ull probably leave the relationship because u know ull be just fine with out that person! Now, if ur not happy and then get that exciting feeling when ur in a relationship, wait awhile, things will probably turn around!
