One very cool site, that alot of people may not know about, is archive.org on which you can view the history of any domain name that did not have exclusions in their robot file. So you can see, for example, what eBay looked like 10 years ago. Also, for the CraigsList users out there, there is SearchTempest.com which allows you to search by radius, rather than just by region, for anything on Craigslist.
