  • Well, Mac's are very good for audio production, but I still perfer PC'S. On My Pc's I use Reason 4.0 and I love it to death. It is available for PC and Mac. I have also used Digital Performer, which is only Mac based. With Reason you can make just about any sound you are after. It comes with synths, a drum machine, sample players, a vocoder, mixers, equilizers, and a whole bunch of different effects. I haven't used Cubase, ableton, or logic pro before. Now that you can use windows on a Mac, you could get the best of both worlds. You definately need a dual core or even a quad core processor for intensive audio work.
  • I like Cubase. And get a PC. You can get more bang for your buck. And that will actually improve your music. Instead of just looking cool doing it.
