This may or may not be a dumb question but anyway, do designers such as Louis Vuitton ever have sales? I LOVE the Louis Vuitton Momogram Denim XL bag but it's $2,260 which, let's face it, is a bit on the expensive side. Should I wait to buy it?

they don't usually have sales, unfortunately. but (im not sure where you live) in toronto, the store that sells all the designer stuff, Holt Renfrew, has a store called Last Call where all the last season stuff is sold ridiculously cheap compared to the original price .. so maybe there's something like that where you live

you could get on their website and send them an email telling them how much you like their bag and ask them if they could discount it for you because the price they want is too steep and that your not a rich celeb that can spend $50,000 in one store and think that is just lose change. they might make a deal for you.

Louis Vuitton items will never go on sale at their boutiques, or authorized resellers like eluxury.com, Saks or Neiman Marcus. They will actually go up in price over time especially if they are a seasonal item. sure... if you go to their show room in italy etc for a benefit for charity. they often have discounts. but the flight and hotel might not be worth the savings!!! good luck

I take it your not rich or you wouldn't have asked. Cant you find a knock off on the street? If your all caught up on your bills and you feel you deserve it. Treat yourself. Just dont go into debt over a handbag.

There is an LV store in Atlanta and LV items will never go on sale and they will increased in price at certain predetermined time/days/weeks of the year. LV has a corporate policy that their items will not go on sale and they have a store increase policy. Last year I was looking at a purse at the LV store for my girlfriend and we had already bought some items there. One of the sales person asked if I wanted to buy that purse because if I did then I needed to buy it now because the price of that particular purse would be going up within the next 10 minutes by two hundred dollars.
