I saw a billboard recently that said "(Name), Pro-Choice Candidate For Water Reclamation Commisioner." Care to comment?

I fail to see what a person's beliefs on a abortion have to do with whether or not they would make a good Water Commissioner. I think this is an attempt to gather unwarranted support, so therefore I am against it. This is despite the fact that I also consider myself "pro-choice." Smarmy tactics just make me cringe.

The candidate is a lady of the female persuasion. I don't see anything wrong with it. She is trying to associate himself with a group in order to get their vote. It is irrelevant to the job she wants, but so is fish mongering and you're going to see one of the candidates do that in front of the press. Campaigning is marketing. She is creating separation, that's all. Her opponent might be a huge abortion supporter. We don't know.
