What does it mean when a guy calls a girl "pure"? Does it mean he likes her? Do guys like girls who are "pure"? (I'm talking about teens/young adults)

I have always taken it to mean that she hasn't had sex. Apparently it is okay for a guy not to be "pure".

I would agree with Jade that's generally what it means. Although sometimes it can be a bit less specific... It could just mean that the girl seems to be... just in general a good person. And yes I think that guys like pure girls... Although not always for the right reasons.

It probably means the girl is inexperienced and innocent -- basically, a virgin. There are guys who like virgins and there are guys who don't.

I'm a guy and I would say that "pure" to me means she isn't like the "slutty" type or type of girl who would use someone to get ahead. Like someone who isn't worried about meterial things. That's is how I would think of it anyway.

I always thought being "pure" meant a girl was a virgin. But could also mean just a good person. SOME guys like a pure girl, guys who are ready to settle down and want a serious relationship. Guys who love to party and have fun, on the other hand would probably prefer a girl with a little more experience and willingness to experiment.

If a guy uses the word "pure" at that age, my experience was that they meant they were a virgin. Most I know wouldn't consider a girl pure if they did everything but. I have found that if someone gave head that seemed to spark a particularly negative view of the girl (unless they were the ones getting it)! My guess is that they don't want to kiss a mouth that has sucked another guys dick. They are weird that way.
