  • I grew up really fast, Id sit down and watch the news with my parents as young as 11... I understood it too. I knew about girls and boy parts when I was really young too. In primary school we got taught it. But drugs was always a bit of a shadow to me, I'm still not 100% sure whats out there...lol
  • I remember vividly when I was about 12 was one big growing up point. My Oma was actually my Dad's stepmum, and I never realised this until she died and there was a huge argument about her will between her kids and my Dad and his siblings. And when I started high school I had a friend who came from a lower socio-economic background than I. Before that I had assumed that everyone's family was the same as mine (mum and dad, two kids, always enough money for school camps etc, but not enought for plasma TVs) Not til those events did I notice that the world was much bigger than I had thought.

  • Pretty early, although can't remember the exact age. I never even believed in Santa Claus to begin with, so I wasn't about to believe we came from aquatic birds or gardens.
