Yes. Like Mr. Rogers himself, I'll put on my blue sweater and sneakers, and when it's over I'll put on my suit jacket again and slip back into my slippery shiny men's dress shoes and tell everyone they're special, because there's no one else like them:

I refuse to support that fascist bastard! He is an oppressor of an entire kingdom. He used a sweatshop to make all those sweaters. I for one will not celebrate that.

mr rogers' public reputation was untarnished as far as i know. he was a great human being and the best example of what kindness is. didnt know about the day, but now that i do, (thank you) ill definitely do something in his memory :)
