  • Yes. I hate English (not the language, just the subject). However, two of my highschool English classes were great. I would NEVER be an English major and I never plan to take any more classes in it.
  • I had a gut dislike of geometry. But, it was required. And, I had a great teacher who made the course at least interesting and gave me a feeling of accomplishment when I constructed an acceptable "theorum".
  • I think all teachers have different styles, she happens to be effective with you. Who knows, you just might find out you like the subject when the course is through. There is one quality that was paramount in all the great teachers of my past. They loved what that they taught. You could see the excitement in their eyes as they spoke to their students. Passion like that is contagious. They always found a way to make their subject interesting.
  • I never "hated" social studies, but found it boring most of the time as my teachers didn't make it interesting. Not until my sophomore year of high school when I had a Mr Gallagher who really made the class fun and interesting. I got great grades in his class.
  • you know i was in a school that i hate ( not a subject) just because i liked the way of the teacher and how she teach's us and when she moved to other school .. i moved with her coz i really couldn't learn this lesson if the teacher wasn't her :)
