Does anyone remember the TV show or movie calld "Salvage One" (or something like that) about a guy who builds a spaceship in his junkyard, and is it available anywhere on DVD?

It's Salvage 1 with a numeral. May have been why you couldn't find it on imdb. Once upon a time, a junkman had a dream. " I want to build a spaceship, go to the moon, salvage all the junk that's up there, bring it back, sell it." It was a series starting with a 'movie length' premeire 1979, ran about a season and a half, 18 episodes. Andy (Sheriff Matlock) Grifith starred, wasn't great but watchable. Semi- science fiction, serio, comic, action show. Basically country boy junkman, build space ship from Govt. surplus and salvage 'junk', outsmarts big business, big crime, and big govt. ( hmmm... which is which) Rumor has it that Sony may release entire series sometime 2008. Try here, and search for Salvage 1, but reportedly not of best quality, "some gosting, seems to be copied from VHS." And 'do not spend extra for tags' whatever that means, I am not familiar with this site.
