  • That hasn't happened to me, but I would feel bad, of course. Unrequited feelings suck.
  • Not really. I can't control their feelings, so I shouldn't let it bother me.
  • Yes...i do, because i know how that feels. It's sad.
  • I don't ever feel bad for them, as I don't think I can control that. But I am always careful about how I act around that person, I always try to be nice but I also want to make it clear that I'm not interested in anything further than friends.
  • No. I actually don't really feel bad at all. How is it my fault that the person likes me?
  • i felt like shit - yes it was that bad. he was my best friend and i know it took him a lot to say it [id known he had but didn't want to tell him cuz i didn't want him to get all awkward on me]
  • I did one time....I ended up asking her out, out of pity. Biggest mistake I ever made. Don't feel obligated to oblige them, unless you like them the same way. Trust me.
  • I always felt bad about it, like someone said, because I know how it feels. But I always made it clear I didnt have those feelings back. I think it would feel even worst if they thought I did then found out I didnt. They would feel lead on. I always try to make them feel better by saying I wouldnt ever want to risk losing our friendship by getting into a relationship. And thats the truth too.
  • I don't have a GOOD feeling about it. I'd prefer only people that I have chemistry with, have chemistry with me, but now no one has chemistry with me, lol.
  • I do if that person is sweet, kind and otherwise a good person. If that person is a malicious scumbag then I don't. :P However, if that person was Bonnie Raitt then I'd probably cry my eyes out and wish the hell that I felt the same:
  • I do, becuase i no what they feel like
  • It is a pretty pathetic sorry situation.
  • Absolutely! I've even tried to make them think that I like them just to save their feelings. I wasn't lying at all, I just didn't say that I didn't like them :D
  • I wouldn't know. Nobody has ever had a crush on me. At least nobody that I didn't have a crush on as well.
  • No, I play with them.
  • yeah i do, I cant be a Bitch and be ewww I dont like u,, so i just bullshit with their head, so which one is worst?
  • yeah u right,, asweetguy4u2know
  • Yes. That is happening to me right now. The guy feels that I'm an angel, but I feel that he's dull and overly whiny. I can't tell him though. But anyways, he's living pretty far from here (he's in northern VA while I'm in southern VA; he used to live around here). I think in this case, it's better to keep my lips zipped and just humor him. I also don't have any danger of him reading my posts, here. We have absolutely no interests in common.
  • yes that sucks especially if the other person is like nice n stuff or hot
  • Absolutely. In some ways it's worse than being in ther other half of that equation.
  • i would feel bad, especially if the guy is very sweet.
  • I definately would ... I've been there . I passed the "Crush" stage . I actually LOVED this person with all my heart and soul ; BUT it was just not meant to be .... It hurt like hel* .. BUT I had to live with it and get over it ...
  • if i felt bad for everyone who had a crush on me i would feel bad for the rest of my life! i'm very cute LOL :) i just let them down easy and try to be as friendly as possible without leading them on
  • Yeah, it's too bad, but it's what it is - can't change their feelings, can't change yours.
  • I have had this experience from both veiw points. My ex is totally besotted with me, but it's a one way street. She's my ex for a reason and I have not got the same feelings for her as she has for me. On the flip side, I have a massive crush on a young lady, who doesn't feel the same. So I do feel bad for my ex as I know how she feels.
