I don't know if it was a shock site, but it contained a clip of an Iraqi police commander getting beheaded. Imagine what you find when you misstype an address in. Another vision that I'd like to have never seen. I had to turn it off, but the images remained ingrained for a while.

Racist sites. That includes Stormfront. Goatske, tubgirl, 2 girls one cup, etc. are nothing next to the hate sites.

Dramatica has most stuff found anywhere else on it. They gather it from all around the internet. . Among the worst of things is the "Ukrainians movie". If You know what it is. If You don't know what it is, that's good for You. Don't look for it. Trust me. Every other shock thing is minor in comparison to this. No person can be fully "normal" again after watching it. . I felt "empty" for like 3 days after watching it.

I don't know. I haven't seen them all. From what I've seen so far I'd have to say http://www.bestgore.com http://www.toxicjunction.com http://www.UncoverReality.com and on Usenet the newsgroup alt.binaries.pictures.grotesque or A.B.P.G. I've seen people being murdered in all kinds of ways; people committing suicide in all kinds of ways; I've seen fatal traffic accidents (all kinds); self mutilation; rape, etc. People are leaking these pictures/videos to websites; they are submitting them. Obviously, these shock sites are for strictly entertainment purposes so one is looking at the suffering and death of others and being entertained. I don't know if there is a way to sensibly regulate/ban this material from the Internet but if there is I'm all for it. It serves to desensitize people to violence and death. A snuff movie is a motion picture genre that depicts the death of a person or person with the aid of special effects for entertainment and profit. The only difference with this "snuff" on these shock sites is that they are commercially made they are reality based footage of the death of a person/people for entertainment but not necessarily for profit. In some cases as in A.B.P.G. at one time it can be for profit and this is organized crime. But the shock sites which show this death of a person/people for entertainment are doing free; it costs nothing for me to access a shock site and watch its pictures/videos. Those groups out there that supposedly monitor violent pornography on the Internet are a joke: I can find anything I want to find; scat, bestiality, self-mutilation and pictures and videos of the "reality" based footage of the deaths, rapes, etc. of other people. Such material is provided not for informative purposes (such as an ongoing criminal investigation or evidence but for entertainment. Other countries don't have the First Amendment but some attempt to regulate/ban this material better than the U.S. But since I am an American citizen I can say I don't think the First Amendment covers everything and anything. Do we draw a line some place or not draw a line anywhere? A problem with the Supreme Court regarding obscenity is that the court has failed to distinguish between violence and sex. In actuality, however, many of the obscenity justifications apply to violence more than to those cases found obscene because they were sexually explicit. Curtailing obscenity on the Internet will of course not eliminate violence in the real world. It will, however, make it safer for children and adolescents who spend time on the computer. It arguably will counter the increasing desensitization to violence of the public. Time to stop talking about this and do something about it.
