A first printing of "The Isle of Yew" written by Frank L. Baum, the same man who wrote the Oz series. Beautiful book, great story.

Dr. Young's Ideal Rectal Dilators. They were made between 1900 and 1940. They are for real medicinal butt plugs. You would not believe what they are supposed to cure. This is medical quackery at its finest. AB will not let me post a picture so here they are photobucketed: http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa153/Arisztid/youngsdirections2.jpg http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa153/Arisztid/bottlesc.jpg

Either my 1848 Bible, my 1890 baby grand piano (still has the original strings!), or my Victorian wedding dress (it was for a costume to be used in a play in high school) They're not butt-plugs, but I like them. ^_^

I found a huge old Japanese Kutani blue and white flower vase, it had an old pattern on it that is not commonly seen anymore called "Fishnet." I paid $10.00 in the thrift store. It is worth easily over $2,000.00!

All kinds of stuff. I recently bought a label maker from prolly the 1930's (not sure how old it is or even that it is a label maker). I have an old corked bottle of yellow food coloring. According to the label it is 75% alcohol and it even has a little of it in the bottle still. I would LOVE to keep talking about this cos I love antiqueing but the last thing I will talk about is an old newspaper dated March 27, 1673. The text is still readable but they replaced all the S's with F's. For example the city of Brussels looks like Bruffelf. All their F's are normal though. Just the S's. But I love antiques!! I go to antique stores a time or two a month and buy things I will never be able to use but like having them anyway.
