I used to use Yahoo email but switched to gmail because of that very thing - the boatloads of spam on Yahoo turned me off.

I use yahoo email and I get about 3 or 4 a day. I consider that extremely low.

Well... the Bulk folder *is* for Spam, after all... I mean, better there, here you have a button labeled "Empty" than your inbox.

I do use Yahoo email. And yes, I get a lot in my bulk folder, but that's why I like the spam filter. A few spam emails still fall in my in box sometimes, and sometimes a few emails fall into the bulk folder that shouldn't, but it works just fine 99% of the time. All I really have to do is empty it every day.

Oh my gosh, in a 24hr period I get about 801 emails. 800 in my junk mail folder and one real message which turns out to be junk anyways. Do you get those spam IMs too? Don't people have lives anymore or are they all out to send IM spam to all of the Yahoo users? Sorry, you had a great question and all my random thoughts just rushed in at once. :)
