It's not currently possible to unlock the Blackberry 6710 for free. However there are 2 options with reference to getting it unlocked for a fee. http://www.steve007.tk - are unlocking all blackberry models and are uk based and can unlock it remotely. Unlocking a Blackberry is possible as the code is generated from the imei number and can be remote unlocked, however you should proceed with caution as it may be a waste of money if you intend to use it for anything more than making phone calls and sms. The blackberry cannot be configured to use normal GPRS (ie you cannot enter the username, password and APN required to make it work) so you would not have access to web browsing or email of any description. Even if you could hack it to get it to connect to your GPRS then you still would not have email or web access as it does not use the normal TCP/IP standard that is required for web access, think of it as a wireless device that depends on it's paid subscription and you will get the picture.
