you propose with a ring, doesn't matter if it's the first time or the fifth
-
If you love her, get her a ring. It doesn't have be huge, just sentimental.
-
I agree with Sara. But remember that the ring doesn't always have to be this $10,000 ring made of platinum and diamonds.

I can't imagine that your practicality in this area is going to go over big. She is likely to imagine/hope that your relationship with her will be marked with all the traditional elements even though you have both been through it before with other partners.
-
Question, was she the one you went through the divorce with? If yes, then I would still give her something. I agree that it doesnt have to be anything spectacular, but it has to be special.
-
Well, I already told you to buy her a new one. Its a new relationship, so she should be treated with a new ring. Maybe she doesn't even like her old one. It might bring up bad memories. Replace those bad memories with some good ones.
-
Of course she exspects a new ring are you nuts!!! I would ditch the guy if he even suggested that i use my old ring! Screw him! Im not going to have a ring that I got married with before that makes me think of my first wedding and honeymoon and all of the good or bad times my ex had together. Is that what you would want her thinking of him when she looked at it? Remembering picking rings out with him. And the way he proposed the night she got it? Not a good idea. I you have to do it and she likes it get a new setting or something.

a new ring... a new relationship...your ring not someone elses...
-
if she is the same girl you've been married to before and you are divorced now and you want to propose for her again , well in this case you can buy her just anyring with any price but in the end you have to buy a ring it is a must and it is shows that you love her so much.
-
Get her a ring, Man.
-
After two years you should know how she feels about "traditions." Is she the type to want all the pomp of the traditional or is she laid back?
