  • There's not reallu anything you can do for the pain...and it hurts a lot (at least it did me). Just bring someone with you to hold your hand, the initial pain passes pretty quickly then it's just really sore for a few days.
  • If you live in the US then don't expect to be numbed. Eat some fresh fruits and veggies and a bit of meat beforehand, be well hydrated, breathe deeply, and tell yourself that it won't be so bad. Mind over matter. And Cyndimh is right, squeezing someone's hand really helps.
  • I had mine pierced and I am very scared of needles. I told the guy I was ready and he said it is already done. I experiences no pain at all. they will put a pair of hemo clips on the belly button and that pretty much numbs the area. now the eyebrow is another story, very painful. good luck and don't sweat it, it is not bad
  • I got a numbing creme from my doctor. But I don't recommend it. The creme only numbs the outside, so it doesn't really make too much of a difference. Plus, where I went the guy wouldn't pierce it with the numbing creme because it stretches the skin (I got him to do it anyway though). Anyway..my piercing is a BIT off center becaue of the creme..not really recognizable, but still. Best advice...if you really want it..just go and get it..it's fast and it's worth it.
  • It honestly doesnt hurt, it feels like a rubber band flick and only hurts for 2 seconds, but thats the only peircing process we're talking about. If you dont take care of it once its peirced, it could hurt.
  • I have NO pain tolerance and it didnt hurt. Not a lot of pain receptors in that area, its sore after a while just keep it clean:)
