SeanyBoy Hey Sean, YES. Yes your muscles should be sore after each workout. Even if it is just a bit. This pain / soreness tells you that you have torn the muscle fibers - and they will repair and adapt - therefore become stronger and larger. Maybe you need to concentrate on range of motion. It is very key to remember to get a FULL stretch and FULL contraction of the muscles at work - every rep of every set.
  • You're gonna be sore at first. Take time off when you first start to let your muscles repair themselves. Then you can get into the groove. I use creatine to help repair my muscles. I don't know if women should take it or not.
