Yes - I broke my ankles years ago, and after surgery, I received staples to hold my skin together instead of stitches. I had about 25 in each foot. I went to the hospital with my Grandmother to get them removed finally. I had tears in my eyes after the first few, I was cursing up a storm by the last. I felt bad for swearing in front of my Grandma, but she forgave me :)

I had a wart removed from the bottom of my foot. I left it at the hospital; had no desire to take it home with me.
