  • That guy with the jet wing who crossed the English channel is pretty inspirational to say the least. I believe a jet suit is possible based on that kind of propulsion system with the winged jump suit injected with steroids (hydraulic skeleton over lightweight high endurance flexible skin) with computer stabilization at high speeds to aid in the stress level which would result from flying that thing. Imagine how much physical endurance it must take to fly a jet wing and steer it with your own body against the obvious g forces? By the time a soldier made an impossible LZ, he'd have no strength left for a mission. I imagine a couple of sticks, one for each hand could control a computerized system that flexes according to those flight principals the Wright brothers incorporated into their first flyer. And perhaps a hard mount somewhere for weapons.
