  • I think the latter is probably most likely but we'll just have to see in a few years.
  • Just when you think somebody like that f**ks it up bad, then someone else comes along and f**ks it up even more so.If that's even possible. As killdrphil said,"we'll just have to see in a few years".
  • It is hard to believe it took the nation so long to realize what a complete twit and moron he is. His ratings are so low now the repulicans don't want to associate with him in their campaning. I think he will go down as one of the worst presidents.
  • So far, he's got to be the worst president this country has ever seen. Hopefully, there won't be any worse than him in our lifetime!
  • Not the greatest - but not the worste
  • Bush: Great President...or the Greatest President? Haha, in all seriousness, I don't think anyone would ever call him the greatest president ever. I don't agree that he's the worst, either. I give that position to James Buchanan. And you can't blame all the countries problems on him. Some, yes. The rest of the blame lies with Congress.
  • Eventually, I honestly believe the country will come to it's senses and Bush will be brought to court on charges of war crimes, crimes against the Constitution and crimes against the Geneva Convention. It's only a matter of time, and when it happens, that'll answer the question better than anyone else could.
  • He's certainly not the greatest president, but I don't think he ruined us really bad either. Sure, we're pretty fucked, but it wasn't caused by him. It was bound to happen. We probably could have done well with someone more capable of handling the situation.
  • not the greatest... not even close... one of the worst. So bad he's ranked DOWN there with Fillmore and John Tyler, andrew johnson, james buchanan.. nixon.... yeah.. those dudes were pretty messed up. YOu'd think we as a country would learn... but nope. We elected him anyway.
  • given that i've only been alive for the last 3 presidents that i can remember, i'd say he's my least favorite of the 3. no clue about the other ones but i can't think of one that's screwed us over more
  • Im not an American, so I suppose I dont have as much credibility as y'all on this. But as a citizen of the world watching events and policies unfold, I have to say that I strongly advocate the notion of Bush being the "absolute" worst president that let alone America, the world has seen after Mr. Buchanan. The US economic conditions that've culminated under his tenure are to say the least daunting. Dont even get me started on Foreign policy, seriously. His very image as a president of a superpower has been made a butt of jokes all over planet, with the American public as No.1 as far as rants against him are concerned. The world watched as countless young American men & women have had to partake in a farce of freedom and lose their lives in a foreign land while the US Administration remains caught up in oil politics at the expense of broken families, tears, and most of all the pain & suffering on both sides.
  • Yes he was one of the worst presidents, but there haven't been any good presidents in decades. When the Constitution was first penned they made well sure to include separation of Church and State. They never knew that Corporations would get as big and powerful as they are today and have as much control as they do now, and that includes control over the government and our President. Do I blame G.W. Bush? Yes to an extent. He allows himself to be used as a puppet for those pulling his strings. But the real ones to blame for this mess with gas prices and the economy being in shambles are the ones we don't have a name or face to put to. If the authors of the Constitution knew that this may happen I am sure it would have read Separation of Anything Non-Governmental and State rather then just church.
  • "Great" hasn't been on the list of accurate presidential adjectives for quite some time now. Bush is definitely not the greatest president America's ever had, but I couldn't call him the single worst either, if only because Nixon, Bush Sr., and of course the grandaddy of them all, Reagan, are also in competition for the title. I do acknowledge that George's time in office hasn't exactly been the smoothest, but every president who comes into office is faced with challenges, and every single one of them for the last half-century and even before have found some way to fuck the nation and its people over. These days, the measure of a good president as opposed to a terrible one is just a matter of degrees: How many innocent people lost their lives, homes and livelyhood while they were in office?. For Bush, that number's pretty high.
  • I believe that Bush is the Antichrist.
  • He has certainly been a bad president, but I have to say that the United States has been in downward spiral for a long time. Partly due to some incredibly bad presidents, but also, I believe, because of the senate and congress. All combined they have been and continue to destroy our once great U.S.
  • I think he messed up big time. It doesn't surprise me and I didn't vote for him the 1st or the second time around.
  • George W. Bush has one basic character flaw which has displayed itself quite prominently throughout his presidency; lack of adversity. He is a Son of Privilege and NOT, shall we say,"acquainted with grief." And it shows.
  • While Bush definitely is not on my short list for greatest President he is very far from the worst. I think slick Willy was worse than him. Slick Willy was too concerned with getting his d**k sucked to be concerned with anything that had to do with our national security. At least Bush had the balls to stand up to Bin Laden and his followers and Sadam Hussein.
  • george bush is about as confused as a two peckerd billy goat but dont expect any miracles for the next 50 years
  • I don't think he ruined us... I think he's tainted us. I also believe we can recover from the choices he was forced to make. He's a limited man with limited abilities, as are many of us. I think he did the best that he could, but I am in no way a fan/supporter of his, so...
  • He certainly would not win the accolade of being great , but I do not believe he has been the worst ever either. The incumbent President, particularly as he is about to leave always seems to be the most loved or the most hated
  • I think that George Walker Bush has irreparably damaged America -- Every single thing he has done has been wrong -- I am not into hate and I don’t like words like ‘evil’ but for that rodent, I shall make an exception.
  • Like they say in southern Georgia, "That dog won't hunt"
  • No, he is far from the greatest and just as far from the worst. I think he did the best he could with the abilities he has and the situation things were in and headed towards when he came into office. Given the mess the country was headed toward and Clinton made worse with his quick fixes and "foriegn policy", I don't think anyone could have performed to the satisfaction of the country/world. I think it's more the people around him than him..he is nothing more than a hapless puppet manipulated by the powerful and ruthless people around him. He did not only make mistakes..his presidency was a mistake. Elections are a joke and just for show, the people do not decide who leads, the decision is made by those who want someone in office whom they can control.....and blame. George Bush is/was a patsy.
  • As President, he was a dud. From what I know, he was a fun frat boy and basically a decent guy. He was in over his head.
  • people are just spoilt because he's kept us safe from muslem attacks for the last 10 years. if not for Bush, then saddom would still be president of afganistan and probly sent 20 more suiciders over here on airplains to blow up buildings.
  • Hard to get out of his mess.
  • George Bush has been a good president. Not the best but nonetheless a good president.
  • I remember he said "I surround myself with smart people and take into consideration their opinion." he must not have heard them.he for what ever reason dumped his country into a imposable u turn.there is no quick fix. president obama reporters aliken to wolves just any move deemed wrong they will pounce unmercifly on him. pray for president obama leadership, intestionel fortatude. steam ahead wit wisdom and knowledge to use these decisions correctly.
  • he is criminal.responsible for thousands killings
  • i think dubya was an average pres. clinton screwed up. bush rolled with the punches. obama will run us into the ground. WE NEED RON PAUL!!!!
