Depends on the situation i guess. That is tough to answer cause there are a lot of situations that can happen. But i try to find a stradegy and then face the situation.

I've found that thinking carefully about it and facing it works best for me. Charging in or trying to escape generally makes matters worse.

I try to face it head on, but not before I practically piss in my pants. I never let the other person know that though.

Yes, Yes and Yes. First I look for an escape when that fails I think about my options and if necessary meet it fearlessly head on. the pragmatic aproach.
