no i have windstream where i live and local and long distance is together along with my computer dsl

Most of our long-distance is in the evenings or weekends, so we use our cell phones for that. Otherwise, we using a calling card. I paid to have long-distance on my local phone service, but found we'd not use any one month, and go over another. More often than not, we didn't use all that we paid for (I paid for so many minutes a month). It works out better to use the calling card or the free long distance on the cell phone...that way, we aren't wasting any money.

I don't have that problem, I use cellular service.

I also have Windstream for my local and long distance calls. I rarely make long distance calls, but for the $2 bucks or so a month it's nice to know it's there!

Nope, it's automatically done by my service provider... :-)

We rarely make local and long distance calls. But if ever, it's not hard to combine those two because the phone company does it for us. No excuse not to pay on time!

No, considering that I use a cell phone. That is a non-consideration for me.
