What will happen will depend on your company's policy, I'm sure. However, if it was prescription medication, then you in essence committed a crime on your employer's site for accepting them. If there's a zero tolerance policy or such, you may be terminated. However, you'r co-worker is equally responsible for the situation. Hopefully you can talk to the management and explain the situation. I would hope they wouldn't let you go for this single infraction. Good luck.
