  • I love having my Grandkids with me. I have taken the three boys every school vacation since they were born, either at my house, or Spring Break on the beach. They stayed with me for three months once when their Mother needed time to get back on her feet. One of the biggest sadness in my life is that I will never meet my Granddaughter who lives in Europe. I had my newest grandson living here with his parents for six months, and now I get him two or three days every week, so they can have a break. Two of my (now adult)Grandsons lived here for two years while they were going to school, and one is still here.
  • I have one grandson and he lives far away, and I wish I could have him all the time! We did get him for several days in December and it was wonderful! He was 8 months old and so much fun!
  • My granddaughter lives across the street so she is over here all the time. If I need some quiet time I have to leave the shades down...she knows if their down I am resting. I don't feel annoyed unless I am sick and her mother sends her over to play when she knows I need my rest.
  • they would answer but they are busy with my kids
  • I love it! We have a great time and I get to do all the stupid things my daughter liked me to do for him ! Except now, it's too silly for her, raising my eyebrows, rolling my eyes, rocking and singing to him
  • From the point of veiw of a grandchild i remeber my grandparents fighting over who got to play with me. My sis and I are the only grandkids on my dads side and will be the only ones. And my grandfather whould be at our house every day from 2 weeks - 10 years old wanting me to comeover ( by then the bus just droped me off there) Sis is a mommas girl so she only stayed the day with them i spend every friday night with them from 2 weeks old to 10 years old when we moved, then i whould go up evey summer for a week and every holiday. Next year we are moveing in with my grandmother my grandfather past away and she needs us there and we wanna be there. And by then she will be a great-grandma.
  • I treasure every moment I get with them. They are so much fun and they keep me young (at heart anyway).
