    Yes, in German tradition the cardnal especially ay Christmas season is meant to bring Good Luck

    I've always heard that if a cardinal shows up at your house, it means someone is coming to visit.

    I remember my mom telling me the best day to see a cardinal is on Friday...it brings good luck.
