If you don't receive some kind of "official" communiqué from God, doesn't it seem unwise to do something like, oh, KILL someone, because supposedly God told you to do so?

Agreed, or hate someone as well, since that would be against God and Jesus. Yet still "Godly" people preach hatred against LGBT people - go figure.

Yeah. Until I get a certified letter from God, I will not be killing anyone for religious reasons.

Anyone who kills someone because they claim God told them to is unlogical. The Bible says Thou Shalt not Kill, so how can God being blameless tell you to kill? God is not a hypocrite and he does not mess up.

I like this question, its kinda fierce. Anyway, if God wanted someone dead, he could kill them himself, I dont think people can go around killing saying that God told them too.

Anything done in the name of God is unwise. I'm not necessarily saying God doesn't exist, I'm just saying people shouldn't assume they know what "His" will is.
