  • Yes, I knew...a long time ago. It's old news.
  • I knew, and that is why he will be the next POTUS... presidents always have off-the-wall middle names!
  • Yeah. Imagine his press secretaries try to keep that infomation as quiet as possible. I strongly believe that his Middle East-sounding name alone will loose him the election to Hillary Clinton.
  • 1) Yes, I knew that. He is a highly interesting personality with a high charisma, I think. I wish him the best. Here some more information about him: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama 2) "He is the son of the late Kenyan economist Barack Hussein Obama Sr. Hussein is a family name. His grandmother is Sara Hussein Obama." "It wouldn’t make sense in Illinois to use Barack Hussein Obama as a ballot name when he started running for the state Senate in the late 1990s — before 9-11 (Osama bin Laden) and the Iraq war (Saddam Hussein). Barack Obama was enough to deal with — not so much because of anti-Muslim prejudice, which I am sure unfortunately exists, but the irrational preference Illinois voters have had for Irish and WASPy names." • Yes it does add some mystery to this already suspicious character looking to ascend to the Presidency.
  • Yes, that's no big secret. Some people like to make a big issue out of it, however. They think if they can convince people he's Muslim, that people won't vote for him. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp
  • he is a muslim , i dont know why ever one is so dumb and let him win , he is going to screw our country up , and i bet he is working with the other Husseins who took down the trade center . so good job , the first black president and the first terroirest president. good job
  • Yes, I knew it. It was considered "racist" during the election to say it out loud, however. I don't know why. Apparently it's no longer racist to refer to it.
  • Yup, you are that out of the loop. lol
  • Yep.... after he used his full name when swearing his oath, I think we ALL know his middle name now! And it was widely known long before that - did you know that some people even made the suggestion that he might be a muslim because of his middle name?
  • I think you are out of the loop. If you did not already know George bush's middle is Walker. Hilliary Clinton's middle name Is Diane. That's right Rodham is her maiden name.
  • okay , i know so many Black people whos middle name is HUSSEIN . so prove it , he grew up a muslim .didnt he
  • Yes I am aware of this. Although it wasnt widely discussed during the election. If I remember correctly, Hussein was a family name for him. His grandmother's middle name was Hussein as well.
  • uuuh, I think you are out of the loop or just not paying attention!
  • so given that, should we all be suspicious of men called "George" now too? let's not get silly.
  • Yes. How that matters to anyone, I don't understand. When I started reading questions on here about 'Barack Hussein Obama', like it's suspicious or something. If he wants to use his middle name, fine. If he doesn't, fine. I don't use my middle name. People are annoying.
  • Yes I knew that. You must be out of the loop since this has been around since at least the primaries. I doubt his parents were like "oh, there's this this evil dictator out there named Sadam Hussein, let's give him trouble!" People really need to give the guy a break.
  • I am in the UK, and I was aware of his middle name at the start of the campaign. So yes, I would say you are out of the loop. And incidentally, the name has no political significance whatever.
  • hussein is his father.this show obama respect to his father.obama is a great man too
