I think the health risks will take their toll in the end. There are much healthier ways to live, I will give you that! Even though I am a meat eater, I do respect those who have the integrity to stand up for their beliefs, even if I don't agree with them!+

Veal is the meat of young calves (usually male) appreciated for its delicate taste and tender texture. Maybe, Bad case of gas.

Thanks for asking the question, the benefits I can see, a human needs to eat to live. The health risks I'm not so strong on, I don't eat healthy to be fair, are there more risks eating baby cows rather than a mature one ? I'm serious, I have never eaten veal it strikes me as cruel but what are the risks ?

It doesn't need to be in the news. It's been done for thousands of years. What should be in the news is that it is not true for the majority of veal calves to be raised in tiny crates and they never have lived in their feces. And BTW, ALL dairy calves are taken away from their mothers unless it's like a family farm where they have one cow. Only beef calves live with their moms. The meat has LOTS of flavor and they aren't babies when they are butchered. They weigh over 350-450 lbs!

I think its sad that this quesion got some (-) points, I'm not a vegan, I eat meat, but its an honest question and everyone has different views, It seams a shame that people can not give a honest opinion without being downrated for it :-(
