  • No, I don't really blush much. But I'm not great at receiving compliments. They render me completely inarticulate.
  • Yes I did in fact. No kidding but one person that I helped out recently while doing my job, she was so impressed with my performance that she actually thought I was better than any of the presidential candidates out there and I blushed since I',m only 35 and would make a bad president but I was rather taken aback. As you can see I have an aversion toward leadership roles and actually am just happy to be here that it just goes beyond words. It's amazing the people that want to talk to me because of my job. It makes me feel really good at times, but mostly they're just there to complain at me mostly and this is really mentally exhausting and to think of that incident in retrospect is quite cathartic to do which is probably why this paragraph has gone on too long already.
  • I receive many complaints but not much compliments,People don't notice if you do good today, let you do something bad and they know how to talk about you then.lol
  • It was years ago. I was pregnant with my first and out to lunch by myself when I felt someone staring at me. I figured it was because I had been inhaling my food as I am wont to do. So I glance up and yep, it's a table of a people (an older family mother, father and 2 grown sons) watching me. I'm embarrassed but I decide to just ignore them. After I while I peek up again and they are STILL staring. NOW I am indignant. So I sit down my fork and stare at them pointedly. Whereupon the mother says "I'm sorry. We are staring because we think you are simply beautiful." I was mortified. Both because I was embarrassed at the lovely compliment AND because I had been having decidedly un-beautiful thoughts about them staring. I flushed crimson clear to my toes, thanked them and discovered that embarrassment was an effective appetite suppressant.
  • When people thank me for answering or commenting on a question. You too TROLL.:-)
  • actually, this wasn't a compliment to ME, but i heard it said from a friend to a friendboy (technically a half-compliment): "i don't like you, but you're REALLLLY HOT." he blushed and ran away. it was cute.
  • I really get often complaints by young girls and that makes me blush. I almost could be their father and so I feel a little bit strange.
  • When I was younger a friend told me his teenage boy ( who was the same age as my son) said, I was hot. I think he was just teasing me but it did make me feel like blushing.
