  • Seems like a browser hijack. See if there is an entry similar to this HKLM|Software|Microsoft|Windows|CurrentVersion|Run [adstart] iexplore.exe http://iesettingsupdate START>RUN>regedit [enter] and delete it if there is... note: I used pipes | instead of backslashes \\\\\ because AB keeps stripping backslashes. Run a full scan with an updated antivirus product too since there is more to this threat and these things don't usually travel alone...
