Help answer this question below.

What do you tell someone whose daughter is having a baby at 21 and has been in jail, did drugs, slept around and has no interest in taking care of a baby but doesn't want to give it up? (she wants my opinion...can't think of a good thing...I'm mad over it

    tread carefully - this sounds like a trap to me, Go for a neutral responses such as 'babies have a habit of changing the world around them as soon as they arrive so who knows what will be'.

    If it's a good friend I would be honest, but in a polite way. Try to find some way to identify with the situation (or make something up). For example, "when (random name) had her first child, she was a little on the wild side, but we (her family and friends) talked to her and were very supportive and helped her straighten her life out for the baby."
    I would only say this if it's someone who is a really good friend that you care about, otherwise, i would just be neutral
