  • They are too busy making everything found in America to have true recreation :)
  • Perhaps, but their Sapporo beer rocks! I only purchase Toyotas so I will not mock them.
  • They're focusing all their efforts on robots to take over the world. Didn't you know? :p
  • It is easy to mock and put down things you do not understand. Why not grow up and show some maturity.
  • because who needs popular culture with an internet link that is so fantastically fast and a public transport system where the buses turn up on time.
  • Not mocking in the least. Sandals are comfy to wear, and sushi is delicious. All these things are simply done, nothing complex about it. Not like the British Crypto Crossword. Oh, and Toyotas are built right here in Indiana. Still, I drive a Suzuki made vehicle, and is the best vehicle I've ever owned. Saki is a fine drink, Betas are beautiful fish, Japanese woman are hot, and anime is still silly, crudely drawn art.
  • They don't seem too lazy when it comes to illegally harpooning whales in the Southern Ocean!
  • first off anime is not crudely drawn. it is alot tougher to draw than american cartoons (excluding the characters of dc and marvel who were better at drawing than some of the amercan cartoonists). anime has thousands of details and stuff. and for true poetry what makes you think it isnt? heres an old poem, roses are red violets are blue sugar is sweet and so are you. it is so easy to say something like that that it is not true poetry. no detail in it as it is too simple. and sushi is raw for a reason. alot of americans are lazy. everyone is lazy sometimes. and what about goldfish?
  • THis has been the most IGNORANT question I've seen in a while... ...borderline racist...
  • Wow. It's obvious you haven't ever attempted to keep a goldfish alive for more than a few weeks, don't like puzzles, have ugly feet, and have no idea what "true" poetry is. It's also obvious you don't know what sushi is, nor how beautiful and complex the presentation can be. Not all simple things equate to laziness. Simple is good. Simple is beautiful.
  • All of this is based on opinion, and, last time I checked you weren't appointed to make rude/ rash/ whatever judgements (from small things from their culture) about a whole culture, country, or it's people. You fail to understand that the things you've mentioned are not only found interesting by many (art, culture) but difficult as well (fashion, culture, literare, language). If you are having difficulty understanding a different culture or learning about it, it doesn't mean their lazy, it means you just don't get it. No big deal, but don't make sweeping generalizatons from a small group of exmaples. Simplified thinking (taking a small portion of a culture or group of people and judging them by something that does not fairly or fully describe them), such as what you seem to have used, seems eerily simialr to what seems to be used by racist and uneducated (whether by life or school) people. Oh, and I don't generally care for Japanese pop culture but I refuse to jusge a group of people as lazy (or their culture) without havign being a part of it. Although their advances in tech. stuff doesn't seem lazy, I'll tell you that.
