Certainly, but not in our lifetimes. Everything about the world culture is gradually becoming more and more homogenus. For example, the many countries of Europe now use one form of currency, the Euro. I think the eventual one-world language will not be any language in existence today but much the way the American language has evolved from many of the languages of the people who came to live here, the one-world language would probably be a melting pot of world languages now in existence.

Yeah it'll be a mix of something like Chinese/Hindi (worlds 2 largest populations) and then the more widely used languages like English/French etc... Imagine that... hee hee

I am English and would like it to be English, but IMHO I think it will be Mandarin.
