yes but trains are well set up these days. and as long as you have books, magazines, games, etc the time passes quickly.

I traveled 3 days from Paris to Athens and had the best time of my life.It went through France,Switzerland,Italy,Yugoslavia,and Greece on its voyage to Istanbul ,Turkey.

Lots of 27-hour trips across Ukraine, and one from Wisconsin to Sacramento on Amtrak. Love it.

Yes, but not overnight yet. I actually enjoyed it and preferred it to flying in that instance.
