  • If that's the only reason, no.
  • In my opinion, no. The fact that she owns the pet should not have a bearing on her. You could/should be honest with her. Tell her that you are allergic to her pet. Have dates at places other than her house/apartment. The pet could really only be a surface reason for a deeper reason for not dating someone... be honest, it works.
  • I think it is. Even if you don't go to her place, her clothes will have the pet's hair on it and you'll never get away from it. And to be around her, you'll have to medicate yourself and fell poorly because of it.
  • I would the meds for allergies and continue too see her if the relationship is going strong.
  • You can't change yourself so at some point it will probably become a problem. If you loved her then it would be different.
  • Maybe for Seinfeld...but, in the real world, no.
  • Yes it is, remember your health comes first, if you are sick then you are not at your full potential.
  • I don't think "neglecting" is appropriate for this situation. You are making a choice that is based on your own personal health situation... it is not neglectful, it is wise.
  • Casual dating, yes, that is a good reason to not want to develop a relationship. If you are already in love, you might want to look into allergy treatments.
  • Do you like her? Anyway, my answer is yes. I mean, c'mon. It's a good reason not to date someone if you just plain out don't like her, so why wouldn't it be a good reason to not want to date her because of her pet that you're allergic to?
  • If you are willing to possibly miss out on a woman that could possibly be your perfect companion........because she has a cat/dog/fish/whatever......ok!
  • If you think she is the one.. than no...but if it is just random dating, why risk your health.
