  • huh, what?
  • Um... YOU'RE the Muslim here... :)
  • The number of messengers/prophets sent by God is not mentioned in the HQ, but if we are to go by HQ 35:24 which says "Verily We have sent thee (Mohammed) in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past)." then there must have been quite a number of them. So is a Muslim supposed to believe all of them. Considering that all prophets brought Islam in essence, that is the same central message that 'there is but one God, your creator, submit to him under his terms' then it follows that Muslims do believe in them as confirmed in HQ 2:285, which says: "The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the believers. Each one (of them) believeth in: God, His angels, His books, and His apostles. (they say) "We make no distinction between one and another of His apostles." And they say: "We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys."
