  • I wasn't aware they still made it that way!!! When I worked for Shamrack Dairy in Tucson, we still had those special "Bulb/Reservoir Top" bottles and being that we raised Guernsey cows their Butterfat content was ideal for this. On occasion the top cardboard seal would leak a bit causing the cream that had separated to dry out leaving not "chunks", but a "crust". Could this be what Ur seeing??? John
  • That's what the name is: cream-top milk. It has cream at the top. The chunks don't really go away, even when shaken. What I like to do is scoop the cream out and put it in a separate container and have it as a snack. The milk is perfectly fine, as is the cream. In fact, both are quite delicious.
