No but it usually is a good idea to put the question in the correct category in the first place.

Do I think so? No but someting should be set up so adult questions can not get on the home page because of the kids.

No. Some questions can be placed in more then one category.

I don't think they should be deducted. Not everyone knows where to put their question. They might not know where the category they want is, or that there is a category for it.

LOL no. Sometimes I find it hard too where to put my questions. But of course, I try to look for the proper category, so that the staff would have less work to do.

no. a lot of my q have been marked as wrong category, even though they aren't. there are so many categories. the person who flagged it just thought that there was a better category for the q. so, you shouldn't take away points just because someone else thought that it would fit better in another category. i think the person who asked the q should decide. as long as it's not totally out of place, just leave it there. i asked a q about baccarat. i initially wanted to ask it in outside the bag, cause it was a silly q, "do you like to play baccarat?" but, i went ahead and i used the search thing on the q page and it brought up a few sub categories, including casinos and baccarat in the business section. what the hell? i did find a games > casino section, so that's where i put it. i bet some smart person will move it to the business section, though.
